Developed by the University of Oxford, The Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) is a language intervention designed to support early elementary students’ vocabulary, listening, and narrative skill development.
In this activity students will categorize words based on their meaning. To modify this activity the teacher can create the categories along with the vocabulary words.
Designed as a supplemental resource, this student facing platform provides the opportunity for students to listen to texts and articles on various topics through different genres.
The Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) curriculum builds students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through an integrated literacy approach.
