Developed by the University of Oxford, The Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) is a language intervention designed to support early elementary students’ vocabulary, listening, and narrative skill development.
In this activity students are presented with picture cards and sentence cards. Students take turns matching the corresponding picture cards with sentence strips.
This tool includes several observation forms for practitioners to utilize to record the execution of lessons that target listening comprehension components.
