MORE, created by the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s READS Lab, is a supplemental curriculum designed build important literacy skills such as students’ language and schemas through exploring science and social studies topics.
In this activity students are presented with picture cards and sentence cards. Students take turns matching the corresponding picture cards with sentence strips.
This resource is a framework for an activity where students explore historical, weather, or science phenomenons and analyze historical viewpoints through listening to aligned texts or audio about historical events.
