Let’s Know! is a supplemental curriculum designed to develop comprehension skills, such as vocabulary, text structure knowledge, inference, and comprehension monitoring, over the course of a school year.
The Fishbowl Strategy can be used by practitioners to guide instructional/scaffolded conversations. This resource provides an overview of the strategy as well as a planning guide to support implementation.
In this activity students will identify cause and effect relationships throughout a read aloud. This activity can be modified so students are only engaging with oral text responding through discussion.
In this activity students will listen to the text and determine what the author is inferring by using information from the text and what is already known about the text.
This resource includes access to 139 pre-made Read Aloud lessons, as well as instruction targets and discussion questions to ask with each repeated reading of the text.
