What is it?

This resource is a framework for teaching academic vocabulary during a read-aloud activity. The framework involves selecting key vocabulary words and presenting them with child-friendly definitions and picture cards. Students identify vocabulary during the read aloud and are encouraged to practice the vocabulary words throughout the day.
