Five Turns

In this activity students will take turns deciding if they agree or disagree with a statement from a text that is read aloud.

The Lexile Framework for Listening measures students’ listening skills using audio passages and comprehension questions that assess the students’ ability to identify the main idea, supporting details, and make inferences.

Students answer questions that use target vocabulary, then share their reason for their answer by explaining the meaning of the target word(s).
